BRAND MANAGER - Direct to Consumer

Duties

  • Planned opening events for 9 Nike flagship and category-led stores in Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Wuhan and Taipei, including the first global Kicks Lounge store and the second Nike Women’s retail destination in the world.

  • Worked closely with the retail operations team, territory and category marketing teams to program weekly marketing activations at stores. This included Nike+ Run Club, Nike Training Club and Kicks Lounge to raise awareness, drive traffic and provide another point of contact between store staff and consumers.

  • Collaborated with marketing and retail teams on large events held at the store to raise store profiles and have retail as a point of celebration for global Nike athletes like Lebron James, Kobe Bryant, Cristiano Ronaldo, Chris Paul, Mo Farrah, Li Na and other Nike Chinese and Global athletes.

  • Partnered with retail operations, store training teams to launch in-depth training programs for store staff to give them added tools to connect with consumers. Programs aimed to turn store staff from sales staff to runners, training athletes, and knowledgeable about the history of the brand and sports. Staff who were trained saw increases in their performance as well as fostering deeper connections with consumers.
